PETALING JAYA: The deputy executive editor-in-chief of Sin Chew Daily Datin Tai Siew Kim was killed in a landslide caused by a 5.8-magnitude earthquake in Lombok Island of Indonesia yesterday.

An airline captain in Singapore was suspended from flying temporarily after he allowed a flight attendant to sit in the pilot's seat and helped her to take a picture, Sin Chew Daily reported.
