Siam City Cement revealed that its Net Profit for 2016 fell by 14.5 per cent to Bt3.9 billion due to a difficult trading conditions in Thailand.

SIAM CITY Cement (SCCC) estimates that Thai demand for cement is continuing to deteriorate and will at best be flat this year, with lack of demand and an oversupply situation having led to lower prices in the domestic market.

SIAM CITY Cement posted a 45-per-cent year-on-year increase in profit for the fourth quarter of 2015 (like-for-like 31 per cent) due to the persistent reduction in costs and non-recurring income items.
