An investigation has been launched by the Office of the Private Education Commission into a private school in Bangkok following media reports in Nepal that the school had allegedly deceived 15 Nepalese citizens to enrol in courses that were not delivered.

Six Nepalese men and one Indian national accused of being members of a transnational drug-trafficking syndicate that transported drugs by having people swallow dozens of capsules containing heroin were arrested last week, Immigration Police commander Pol Maj- General Chuchat Thareechat told the press in Bangkok on Monday.
