"HM the King"

Germany’s government has found no evidence that HM the King has conducted state affairs while on German soil, according to the country’s largest press agency.

His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn and Her Majesty the Queen Suthida changed the summer attire of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok yesterday (July 6) to one signalling the start of the rainy season.

Preparations for the royal river procession of His Majesty the King got into full swing on Monday, when the man in charge of security, Deputy PM General Prawit Wongsuwan, appointed officials to oversee the 700-year-old ceremony.

His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn presents the First Royal Command. "I shall continue, preserve, and build upon the royal legacy and shall reign with righteousness for the benefit and happiness of the people forever.”

His Majesty the King grants a grand audience to members of the Royal Family, the Privy Council and the Cabinet and senior officials on Saturday. He thanked them for their best wishes and urged them to join him and Thai people in working towards prosperity and happiness.

His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn on Saturday wore a golden-tiered crown, the highlight of the three-day Royal Coronation ceremony, two years after the monarch ascended the throne.

HM KING Maha Vajiralongkorn has named General Suthida Vajiralongkorn na Ayudhya as the Queen, the Royal Gazette announced on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on Thursday expressed his gratitude to HM the King for his birthday flowers. 

The Constitutional Court is scheduled to meet on Thursday afternoon to decide whether it will accept a petition for the dissolution of the Thai Raksa Chart party for alleged hostility to the constitutional monarchy.

His Majesty the King issued a statement on Friday night prohibiting his older sister Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Sirivadhana Barnavadi from entering politics after she decided to accept a pro-Thaksin Shinawatra party’s invitation to run as its PM candidate.
