Bangkok Mass Transit System (BTSC), the operator of Skytrain, on Wednesday opted out of the new bidding for a 30-kilometre section of the Orange Line railway project, alleging that the bidding terms were designed to help a particular bidder.
Bangkok Mass Transit System (BTSC) said it is on track to bid for the Orange Line train project again, but only if conditions are “lawful and just”.

The Central Administrative Court ruled on Thursday that last year’s decision by the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) to cancel the bidding for the Orange Line project was unlawful. The MRTA has 30 days to appeal the verdict.
