KUALA LUMPUR: The aviation industry is likely to return to normal in 2022 with the gradual resumption of interstate travels and the reopening of international borders, said AirAsia group chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes.

Thai AirAsia has extended the suspension of flights on 21 routes from June 1 to 13, due to the Covid-19 crisis in the country.
