Woman arrested for selling abortion pills online, running illegal abortion clinic

Pol Lt-Colonel Jaturong Pholkerd, deputy commander of the Consumer Protection Police Sub-division 4, said on Wednesday that Wilawan Wonchai, 46, was arrested for selling the drug using a Facebook page. Jaturong said his sub-division placed an order for the drug and traced the address to Wilawan in Tambon Khukot in Lam Lukka district.
Police said subsequent interrogation of the suspect revealed that she also allegedly ran an abortion clinic on Phaholyothin Soi 72 in Tambon Khukot, in Pathum Thani province.
