Two South Korean students drown in Tak


Two South Korean students from a China-based international school drowned in the Moey River in Tak’s Tha Song Yang district on Wednesday evening, police said.

The two students were both aged 14 and were identified as Cho Sejin and Choi Jihyun. Only Cho’s body has been found.
Nine teachers and 21 students from the school have been visiting the Academy School in Tha Song Yang since March 25.
The students and local children were swimming at Ban Nong Bua Beach on the river when the two drowned.
After Cho’s body was retrieved by rescuers, it was sent for an autopsy at Tha Song Yanng Hospital
