Pakistani man arrested, 2kgs of cocaine found in stomach

A Pakistani man was arrested at the Suvarnabhumi Airport Sunday afternoon and he was found to have smuggled two kilogrammes of cocaine. The suspect was identified as Tahir Butt, 45.

The suspect refused to walk through an x-ray machine upon arrival at the airport at 6.15am so police took him in custody and sent him for a thorough x-ray at the Police Hospital. About two kilogrammes of cocaine in special capsule were spotted in the x-ray film so he was arrested and charged with smuggling narcotics into the kingdom.
