Parit was arrested on August 14 on eight charges: provoking unrest, holding an illegal gathering of more than 10 people for activities that caused unrest, holding activities that exposed the public to the risk of a contagion, blocking public path, obstructing traffic, placing objects on streets, using loudspeakers without prior approval and jointly using force against other people but not causing harm to their bodies and mind.
On Saturday, the Criminal Court reportedly issued arrest warrants for 15 people on charges related to security and political gathering.
Police investigators are also gathering evidence to ask for warrants to arrest another 16 people.
