Vendors, beach chairs back on Bang Saen beach

Saensuk district authorities have arranged shops and beach chairs to reduce congestion and free up space on the beach so visitors can maintain social distancing and enjoy the scenery.
However, the road to the beach may be closed to prevent crowding if too many visitors arrive, local officials warned.

Bang Saen is regarded as the closest beach to Bangkok, making it a popular weekend attraction for residents of the capital.
"We ask that visitors to the beach wear face masks, refrain from drinking alcohol, and dispose of their garbage in the designated areas," the official said. "Those who disobey the rules will face punishment as municipality officials will be inspecting the area constantly."
