Police said Suchart Praphaiphak, 51, from Nakhon Sawan, hanged himself to the side of his trailer truck, which was parked in an open area in Moo 7 village in Tambon Nong Khok.
Suchart’s friend, Narin Kerdsup, 32, found the body and called police.
Narin said Suchart called him early in the morning, telling him to collect his body and so he rushed to the spot where Suchart usually parked and found the body.
A doctor at Chon Buri Hospital performed an autopsy and determined he died of suffocation without any sign of being injured.
Narin said he had heard Suchart complain that he missed his three children, but did not know of any specific issues he may have been suffering from.
