His Majesty to launch Un Ai Rak fair at Royal Plaza
His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn has graciously granted the space at Dusit Palace’s Royal Plaza and Sanam Sua Pa to be used for the second “Un Ai Rak” fair from Sunday through to January 19.
His Majesty will preside over the launch of the event at Dusit Palace on Sunday, 3.30pm, before joining the “Un Ai Rak: Bike for Love and Warmth” bicycle ride from 5pm.
The King will lead the 39-kilometre ride from Dusit Palace’s Royal Plaza to Samut Prakan’s Lat Pho Park and back.
City police have been making preparations by temporarily blocking off key Bangkok roads, including Ratchadamnoen Avenue, Charoen Krung, Suk Sawat and Phitsanulok Road, from 2pm.
