No rains on Royal Cremation Day: Meteorological chief

The skies over Bangkok will be clear and bright and there won’t be rains on the Royal Cremation Day, the chief of the Meteorological Department forecast on Thursday.

Wanchai Sakudomchai, director-general of the Meteorological Department, said Bangkok would see some rains on October 22 and 23 and then the winter would start so there would be no rains on the Royal Cremation Day on October 26.
But rains could fall in the South on October 25 and 26 when the monsoon trough would pass over the southern region, he added.
