Milestone for accounting start-up

A Thai company offering online accounting services to small business has taken a stride forward by raising $1.15 million (Bt38.1 million) in funding.

FlowAccount, the winner of AIS: The Start-Up 2015, struck the deal with leading venture capital funds in Thailand and overseas.
Co-founder Kridsada Chutinaton said the company’s successful fundraising campaign after only three years in business showed that market leaders recognized the company’s potential.
The investors include SBI Investment (SBI), which has invested in top FinTech firms across the globe; Beacon Venture Capital (Beacon VC); Golden Gate Ventures of Singapore; 500 TukTuks Fund, leading venture capital funds in Japan and KASIKORNBANK.
The company intends using some of the funds to add other services to those it already offers.
