MG Sales (Thailand) Co is expanding the “Approved Certified Used Car by MG” programme beyond Bangkok to satisfy the demands of prospective customers nationwide.
The company says buyers will be assured with MG’s “Passion Services” maintenance programme.
According to company vice president Pongsak Lertrudeewattanavong, MG is also launching special promotions at this year’s “Fast Auto Show Thailand” at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Bitec).
“Ever since we launched the Approved Certified Used Car by MG programme at Fast Auto Show Thailand 2016, we have received a very positive response from customers,” Pongsak said. “This is attributed to our highly rigorous 200-point inspection plan to ensure every used car is not only roadworthy but is as close to a brand-new vehicle as possible.
“The customers also have confidence in our highly efficient ‘Passion Service’ maintenance programme, which is the same service offered to our new-car customers.”
MG is expanding its used-car sales network to cover every region of Thailand. The first authorised MG dealership outside Bangkok to offer Approved Certified Used Car by MG is MG Nonthaburi NCI in that province’s Bang Buathong district. This complements Bangkok’s used-car facilities at MG Wish Motors on Pradit Manutham Road and MG at Chaiyapreuk Road.
During the first five months of 2017, MG’s sales totalled 4,584 units, a significant increase of more than 50 per cent compared with the same period last year.
Broken down by model type, the best-selling MG3 sold 2,790 units, the latest MG GS 1.5-litre sport utility vehicle sold 732 units, the MG5 726 units, MG6 236 units and the MG GS 2.0-litre 100 units.
Pongsak said: “MG cars’ continuous sales growth is an excellent performance not only for the first half of 2017, but it also reflects overall customer satisfaction and confidence in our product and service quality.
“This is proof of MG’s strong brand image that results from our strategic planning and execution. Approved Certified Used Car by MG is a cornerstone of this strategy that contributed to our sales success in Thailand’s highly competitive automotive market.”
