The fourth Honda Winter Festival on November 28 promises a relaxing, if frosty, outing to the Bonanza Khao Yai Hotel's Greenfield site, with plenty of music bouncing off the hills of lower Nakhon Ratchasima.

"It seems like the cold weather has come earlier this year," sneezes Vinij Lertratanachai, chief executive of the Fresh Air Festival, which is organising the Honda event.

So he wants everyone to sit close together - romantic and, yes, warm - and sing along with the more than 30 bands he's lined up.

You'll need to know the lyrics to songs by ETC, Palmy, Moderndog, Joey Boy, Buddha Bless, Scrubb, Friday, Jetsetter, Yong-Koi, Noi Pru, Mint Maleewal, Panadda Ruangwut, Tik Shiro and Kob Songsith.

And also the music of Charas Fueang-arom, Pingpong Sirasak, Surasee Itthikul, Waen Thitima, Pan Paibulkierti, Pramote Vilepana, In Budokan, Oui Rawiwan, Ford Sobchai, Paew Napada, Aoo Tannatonn, Oak Smith, Ruj The Star, Dan Worrawech, First Slot Machine, Waan Thanakrit, Padcha, Girly Berry, Four Mod, Mint Athawadee and Jui Juis.

If your bum is still freezing, get up and move around. There's a "zoo" to look at - crocodile, elephant, panda, tiger and friends all made of recycled paper - and a field of windmills too.

"We will be together amid fantastic nature," says Phithak Phrukthisarikhon of Honda Automobile (Thailand). "We'll have 5,000 boxes of seeds for different kids of trees that we'll distribute so people can plant them at home."
