Hospitality school launches
The Regent Group, a leading Thai hotel and hospitality management company with more than 30 years of experience in the sector, recently announced the opening of the Regent Cha-Am Hospitality School (RHS). The hospitality school, which aims to serve the increasing demand for skilled personnel in Southeast Asia’s hotel and tourism industry, is scheduled to launch its first course this month with a nine-month curriculum, designed especially for young people aged between 17-24 years, who are interested in working in the region’s thriving hotel and hospitality businesses. During their time on the course, students will also get six months of on-the-job training at the Regent Cha-am Beach Resort.
Air travel through counter service
AirAsia tickets are now available for reservation at Counter Services across Thailand, making the airline the first to offer international flights through the system. The service came into effect on Monday with an introductory offer of promotional fares starting from Bt777 for domestic destinations and Bt1,111 for international destinations (inclusive of airport tax and fees). Tickets must be booked at any Counter Service nationwide before March 30 for travel between this month and September 30.
The hot tub experience
