Bangkok Airways was once again picked as the "World's Best Regional Airline" and "Best Regional Airline Asia at the Skytrax Awards 2014 held last week as part of the Farnborough International Airshow 2014 in the UK.

Billed as Academy Awards of the airline industry, Skytrax carries out international-traveller surveys annually to find the best airline. The Airline of the Year 2014 prize went to Cathay Pacific Airways, while AirAsia once again championed the World’s Best Low-Cost Airlines for the sixth consecutive year.
New GM for Soneva Kiri
