Bangkok Insurance selects Oracle Exadata Database Machine to improve data warehouse performance, business intelligence

Bangkok Insurance Public Company Limited (BKI) together with Oracle Corporation (Thailand) and MFEC Public Company Limited (MFEC) recently signed an agreement whereby BKI has purchased Oracle Exadata Database Machine to enhance its data warehouse performa


BKI, the leading non-life insurance company in Thailand, selected Oracle Exadata Database Machine and MFEC PCL as the implementation partner to accelerate the development of next-generation business intelligence and generate more timely risk analysis reports. 
"Oracle Exadata will help improve BKI’s data warehouse performance and reduce the time to generate reports. With improved time-to-market of our new products and campaigns, we are well positioned to address various demands and requirements in the non-life insurance market in Thailand," Dr Apisit Anantanatarat, Executive Vice President, Bangkok Insurance PCL (BKI) said.
