Weightlifter Pimsiri wins first Olympic medal for Thailand
Weightlifter Pimsiri Sirikaew on Monday wins Thailand's first Olympic medal at the 2012 London Games.
Pimsiri, 22, got the silver medal while Li Xueying won China's second weightlifting gold medal of the London Olympics. Li led the way in both the snatch and the clean and jerk in the women's 58-kilogram category.
Yulia Kalina of Ukraine took bronze. World champion Nastassia Novikava of Belarus ended up in seventh place.
