The Thai Rak Thai Party has suffered an exodus of MPs and members after the Council of National Security issued an order banning all executive members from political activities for five years if the party is dissolved by the court. As of now, a total of 73 MPs and members have resigned from the party. Ousted Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra quit as the party leader on Tuesday.
