I left from this airport last weekend, a very long journey compared to Don Muang, but was entertained ny people trying to explain why the "i" is silent at the end of the airport name. I did not find the airport exceptional, no better or worse than say, Hong Kong or KL, but of course these airports do have the additional advantage a rapid transit access to the city. I do mourn the passing of Don Muang, I wonder what has happened to the airport buses, AB1 and AB2?
