The Shell Company of Thailand Limited is proud to present its new concept in TV, Shell Quiz on the Road, which encourages Thai teens to improve their knowledge and command of the English language.

For over 40 years, the Shell Company of Thailand Limited has supported Thai high schools students through its Shell Quiz programme that focuses on listening and speaking skills in English.

This year, in collaboration with NJ ‘Easy English’ Magazine, the company had developed a new concept called “Shell Quiz on the Road”. The new format combines both education and entertainment, taking the show out of the studio and closer to students by visiting participating schools across the country, allowing everybody who is interested to witness this exciting competition up-close.

In total 103 schools nationwide took part in the online screening for the Shell Quiz on the Road with 64 schools making it through to the second elimination round which have taken place in the Central, Northern, Southern, and Northeastern regions respectively. The overall winning team will be chosen in the National Grand Final to be held in Bangkok in November.

As well as the honour of winning, the team will also be rewarded with a trophy from HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and a one-month scholarship to study in Australia.
