Old views haunt govt critic

December 7 , 2005 - An anonymous person yesterday distributed free copies of Sondhi Limthongkul’s book “PM |Thaksin in Sondhi’s View”, a |compilation of extracts from an episode of Sondhi’s TV talk show aired two years ago, in an apparent attempt to discredit the media mogul.
Following Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra’s dropping |of all six criminal and civil |suits filed against staunch |critic Sondhi, copies of the |latter’s book – written when he was still an admirer of Thaksin – were handed out on the capital’s Silom Road.
The 24-page book contains extracts of an episode of the show “Muang Thai Rai Sapda” aired on September 26, 2003, on Modern Nine TV.
The book quotes Sondhi as saying: “PM Thaksin is no saint, please do not be mistaken, but he is the best prime minister our country has ever had.” It is believed the book was beingThe introduction states the book’s objective is to repeat a “Muang Thai Rai Sapda” programme.
