Public most worried by Sondhi-PM spat: poll
The general public feels the most serious issue facing society at the moment is the battle between Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra and Manager Group owner Sondhi Limthongkul, according to a Suan Dusit poll.

November 21, 2005 - Almost 44 per cent of those surveyed said they were concerned about the conflict. The transfer of schools to the authority of local administrations was the next most serious problem, according to 25.99 per cent.
Meanwhile, 13.58 per cent said they were worried about the problems in the deep South.
But only 8.33 per cent were concerned about the government's plans for the initial public offering of Egat Plc.
The poll surveyed 4,213 people in Bangkok and nearby provinces about social conflicts during November 15-20.
When asked about the cause of the problems, 38.93 per cent said they felt it was because those involved were pig-headed and obdurate. But 32 per cent said it was more to do with politics.
Almost 50 per cent said that if these problems were not resolved, they could create serious disharmony in the country. About 24 per cent said they believed Thai society fears upheaval because of them.
Almost 54 per cent of the respondents said every group should be honest about solving the problems, while 21.39 per cent said they wanted to see the government and the opposition stop being so obstinate.
Only 12.34 per cent of the respondents felt it was up to Thaksin to explain the truth and find a way to solve the problems.
