15,351,973 are in the Northeast’s 19 provinces

11,341,002 are in the Central region’s 26 provinces

8,328,601 are in the North’s 16 provinces

5,912,339 are in the South’s 14 provinces

And 4,159,040 are in Bangkok

The general election with the lowest turnout was on January 29, 1948 when 29.5 per cent of 7,176,891 eligible voters cast their ballots.

The February 6, 2005 election got the highest turnout, with 72.55 per cent of 44,572,101 eligible voters casting their ballots.

On August 19 this year, 57.61 per cent of 45,092,955 eligible voters participated in the first-ever national referendum on a constitution.
