DOs and DON'Ts
There are things to keep in mind during the run up to and during the December 23 election.

If you receive money or present from a candidate or candidate canvasser, you are subject to one to five years imprisonment, and/ or Bt20,000-100,000 fine. Besides, your voting right will be revoked for five years.

However, your will be exempt form the penalties if you inform the Election Commission by December 30, 2007.

On the other hand, if you inform police, the Election Commission or authorised officials, you could be awarded with up to half of the fine.

If you tear the ballot card, you are subject to up to one year imprisonment and up to Bt20,000 and five-year revocation of your voting right.

From 6pm of December 22 to midnight of December 23, selling, and providing liquor to others is prohibited.

You are not allowed to take photo of your marked ballot cards, with digital camera, mobile phone or any devices.
