Tens of thousands of people flocked to collect the ashes of highly revered monk Luangta Maha Bua Yannasampanno at Wat Pa Ban Tad forest temple in Udon Thani Sunday. The royal sponsored cremation of Luangta Maha Bua, carried out on Saturday, was graciously presided over by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit and Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn. The monk's relics will be kept at Wat Pa Ban Tad for a while before being sent to other Wat Pa forest temples. People are allowed to pay respects to his relics at Wat Pa Ban Tad.
