Once upon a time
Once upon a time, there was a butcher named John. John had a son named Max. Everyday, John opened his shop and many customers came to his shop to buy some meat.
His son, Max waked up late and went out everyday playing with his friends, he never helped his father sell the meat although he was not a child and he could help his father.
He always asked for money from his father. One day, John talked to his son that “if you don’t go to work or help me sell the meat, I won’t give you any money”.
Max thought that his father just threatened him, so he just kept doing what he used to. However, his father was true. John didn’t give any money to his son. At last, Max couldn’t go out because he has no money. Max asked his father but his father insisted that if he didn’t go to work or helped him, he won’t give any money to him.
Then, Max had some idea in his mind “Why don’t I steal some meat and sell it for money?” So he began to steal his father’s meat and sold it. At the first time, John didn’t know that his son stole his meat but later the butcher suspected that why a lot of his meat was gone.
He started to look out for his meat and found out that his son had stolen it. John was very angry, he expelled Max from his house.
Now, Max didn’t have any place to go. His mother died when he was very young and he didn’t have any relative except his father.
One sound from his mind told him to go back and apologized to his father for all of things he had made mistake, but another sound told him to stand on his leg. Max didn’t know which way was good for him, he didn’t have any idea.
A few days later, Max had no money left, he was so hungry and wanted some place to sleep. So, he decided, he had to find some job! Max went to many shops but all of them denied because they knew that Max was a very lazy guy. Max was very sad but he didn’t discourage, he was still finding a job.
One day, he went to a farm which was very far from his village. Max met the old man, who was the owner of the farm. Max told the old man that he wanted some job.
The old man accepted him and saw how he worked.
Max determined with his job. Every morning, he had to wake up early and went to a chicken coop for picking the eggs and fed animals. Then he had to go to work in farm.
There were many kinds of fruits and vegetables in a farm, for example corn, rice, potatoes. His job is kept all of the produce that is in the farm. More over, he had to help his boss, the old man, to gather the product.
One night when Max slept in his hut near the farm, he heard some strange sound from the farm. He was frightened and though “what happened in the farm?”
He walked stealthily to the farm and looks out. Then he noticed something, someone was stealing the corns from the farm.
Max was very angry, he was very tired for gathering that corn and someone were going to stealing it from him. He went back to the old man house, waked him up and told him what happened in the farm.
The old man and Max asked for help from their neighbors and went to the farm. Finally the thief was arrested. The old man was very glad because his produce weren’t stolen.
He shared his land to Max.
When Max come back at his hut, he was thinking of the situation that he used to stole his father’s meat. Now, he knew why his father was very angry when he knew that he is stealing his meat.
Max was very sad and wanted to amend to his father. He decided to go home and apologized to his father. On the next day, Max consulted with the old man about his problem, the old man agreed with him that he ought to go home and apologize to his father for something he had done.
John was very shocked when he opens his shop in the morning and found that his son was standing in front of his shop. He told his son to come in and talked to each other.
Max told his father that after he went away from home he worked in a farm far away from here, that’s why his father can’t seek him.
He made an apology to his father and told him that now he is a new Max. Max told his father that the old man gave some land to him and he wanted his father to live with him.
John is very proud of his son. At the end, John lived with his son in a farm, helping his son do agriculture. |
