The Wild Ones: Maeow and his motorcycle gang roam down a dusty road in Roi Et.
Who needs helmets? |
Where were the traffic police on Tuesday when a mysterious marauding motorcycle gang blasted their way down a dusty road in Ban Jor Kor, Amphoe At Samart, Roi Et? The leader of this motorcycle gang is believed to be Maeow Charan 69.
A photo shows that this gang of “Wild Ones” has no respect for traffic laws. The traffic police should conduct an investigation as follows:
1. Did the leader of the motorcycle gang or any of his posse carry motorcyclist licenses? Many believe that they did not because Maeow and his gang prefer to ride in Mercedes-Benz limousines.
2. Why didn’t they wear helmets? Meow wore nothing on his head, but some gang members did sport baseball caps.
3. Did Maeow and his followers fail to confine their ride to the left side of the road at all times? It was clear that they rode their bikes in a wide swath of one-way traffic as if they owned the road.
4. Did the motorcycles display expired registration plates?
5. In rural areas, water buffaloes have the right of way. Did the motorcycle gang stop for the buffaloes or were the buffaloes stopped by them?
6. Will rural villagers get any compensation from the noise pollution they suffered during the invasion of the outlaws on wheels?
7. Maeow claimed to be a doctor curing poor people of their poverty. He also wrote several prescriptions for the poor. Does he have a medical diploma?
If the scandalous incident did indeed happen, the traffic police must find a way to make justice work. But if this were only a reality show, then we can forgive Maeow and his motorcycle gang and gave them all a high five for the brief comic relief from the impending sale of Shin Corp.
