The Criminal Court Friday acquitted Noppadol Thammawattana in the charge that he took part in the murder of his elder brother, Hangthong Thammawattana.

The court ruled that substantial evidences showed that Hangthong committed a suicide.

The court reasoned that there was no trace of drug in Hangthong's blood and Hangthong wrote a letter one day before his suicide, asking his siblings to stop fighting for the legacy of the family.

Noppadol was charged with masterminding the murder of his brother.
