TCC: govt reform-assembly plan needs review

The Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC) has urged the government to review its reform proposal.

TCC chairman Isara Vongkusolkit said via a statement yesterday that in the chamber's view, the reform proposal by the government had received a less-than-positive response from various sectors, including the general public.

The TCC has recommended that all parties in the current conflict start talks and work together to achieve tangible reform so as to solve the country's problems and restore confidence.

Isara also suggested the government take into consideration the private sector's proposals, to ensure inclusiveness and sustainable benefits to the country.
