People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) leader Suthep Thaugsuban will write to several international organisations - including the United Nations - about the political violence.

PDRC spokesman Akanat Prompan said Suthep would send letters this week to international organisations, including the Red Cross and Human Rights Watch.
Akanat said Suthep would call on them to watch over the government on law and order issues, adding that he would not object to the organisations wading into Thai politics. The spokesman reaffirmed that anti-government protesters would be peaceful and unarmed.
Another PDRC leader, Satit Wongnongtaey, said the protest areas would be rearranged due to the violence, including stalls nearby. He asked protesters to cooperate when it came to checking bags.
