The leader of the People's Democratic Reform Committee, Suthep Thaugsuban, yesterday decided to postpone a charity dinner to help demonstrators injured during the protests against the ousted Yingluck Shinawatra government.

In a post on his Facebook timeline yesterday, Suthep reasoned that the event might not be in line with martial law and orders issued by the National Council for Peace and Order.

The dinner was originally scheduled for Saturday at Pacific City Club. Refunds for the tickets, each priced at Bt10,000, were available, he said.
