Colonel Prasithchai Im-aksorn has been appointed Bangkok's Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC) deputy director, replacing Maj-General Chunont Hasareesorn.

Prasithchai will hold a meeting with 50 district directors to map out the security plan for the capital.
Former Defence Ministry spokesman Colonel Papathip Sawangsaeng will oversee ISOC’s media division in Bangkok.
Military officials are expected to be among the 30 new municipal councillors selected on August 28 when the current councillors’ terms expire.
The ruling National Council for Peace and Order issued order No 86 to suspend the election of municipal councillors temporarily.
Bangkok deputy city clerk Banjong Sukdee said the NCPO had held 120  “returning happiness” events across the capital since it took control of the country in May.
He said the events had been a great success in getting people to understand the reasons why the junta seized power in May.
