Preecha, other military NLA members declare assets

Lt Gen Preecha Chanocha, a National Legislative Assembly (NLA) member, yesterday said that he is ready to declare his assets to the National AntiCorruption Commission (NACC) to prove his honesty and transparency.

Preecha, who is the brother of junta chief Gen Prayuth, said that his fellow army members who are also the NLA members would also comply with the NACC decision that all NLA members must submit their asset declarations.

"As Thai military officials, we are ethical and work with honesty and in our 35 years of military service, every asset can be verified," Lt. Gen. Preecha said.

When asked about the new prime minister, he said that the NLA has not yet discussed about issue yet. A decision is likely within 3 to 4 days.
