Parnpree Bahiddha-nukara has resigned as chairman of PTT's board, opening the door for the ruling junta to reform the company along its economic policy guidelines.

He reportedly submitted his resignation to ACM Prajin Juntong, the deputy chief of the National Council for Peace and Order and its economic affairs chief, yesterday morning.
Parnpree, who had a close relationship with many ministers under the ousted Yingluck government, was deputy head of the Pheu Thai Party in the Thaksin government.
He was also an adviser to former energy minister and Pheu Thai MP Pongsak Ruktapongpisal.
