The news production and programme director of state-run NBT was reportedly suspended for failing to comply with the National Council for Peace and Order's announcement on media content.

Station director Chamlong Singto-ngam signed the order on Friday after a news show aired on that day, produced by the news programme department, overstepped the boundaries of what was permissible by the junta.
Charoensri Hongprasong was relieved of her duties until further notice. She was reportedly replaced by Chittima Wutthiwat, a media specialist.
