Rice-Pledging Scheme

NACC will not allow any more witnesses from PM

The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) said yesterday it will not allow any more witnesses in defence of caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra in the case of alleged negligence related to her government's rice-pledging scheme.

The NACC has also decided to indict 36 senators who were behind the charter amendment related to the composition of the Senate. The amendment was ruled illegal by the Constitutional Court.
