There is mystery surrounding the whereabouts of former Pheu Thai MP Karun Hosakul, with a junta spokesman saying yesterday that he was released from military detention two days ago but his wife still demanding his release.

Pimchana Hosakul filed a complaint with the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) esterday to demand it release her husband, saying he had been detained for seven days already and should have been released.
However, NCPO spokesman Colonel Winthai Suvari, said Karun was released two days ago.
“The NCPO does not know where he is now but I affirm that he has been released,” Winthai told a press conference.
