The Customs Department and the army on Monday announced the seizure of Bt10 millionworth of illicit goods in Songkhla's Hat Yai district.
The seized goods, which included contraband, pirated goods and items considered to pose a threat to the country’s security, were presented at a press conference.
This operation to seize the goods were undertaken by the Region Custom Bureau 4 and the army.
Items seized during raids on June 26 and 27 and deemed a threat to national security included radio communication equipment that can be used to make bombs and cause violence in the three southern border provinces. Other items were air guns, illicit drugs, torches, sport jerseys and mobile phone cases.
