Court accepts PDRC complaint

THE CRIMINAL Court yesterday accepted a complaint against caretaker PM Yingluck Shinawatra and Chalerm Yoobamrung as chief of the Centre for Maintaining Peace and Order for their roles in ordering a crackdown on anti-government protesters on February 18, which left two police officers and four protesters dead.

Leaders of the anti-government People's Democratic Reform Committee lodged the complaint in reference to the clash at Phan Fah Lilat Bridge, which saw 64 people injured. The court has set May 26 for a preliminary hearing.
