The Civil Court yesterday agreed to review the case against the caretaker government's declaration of a state of emergency.
An anti-government protester on Monday sued the caretaker government saying it had no legitimacy to declare a state of emergency.
The first hearing was scheduled for February 6.
Thaworn Senneam, a core protest leader, named the caretaker premier as well as the chief and the deputy chief of the government’s peacekeeping centre as defendants.
He also asked the court to revoke the decree and prohibit the dispersal of the anti-government demonstrations.
