You might 'Love Chiang Mai', but you don't speak for it

As political confrontation escalates, the Love Chiang Mai and Love Udon groups under the wing of red shirts are gaining more publicity with controversial declarations and at times aggressive demands. But there are many others in Chiang Mai and Udon Thani who also love their province but disagree with the red shirts' agenda and beliefs.

Is it not possible for these groups to spare their fellow citizens embarrassment by not speaking as if they are the sole representatives of their provinces? And wouldn't it be less confusing and more appropriate if they could simply call themselves the Love Thaksin group instead?
