Two sides to Suthep

Although I believe Suthep Thaugsuban is sincere about political and electoral reform, I doubt his timing.

His party is groping around in the dark, having not won a general election for over 20 years, and sees no light at the end of the tunnel (except maybe the light of an oncoming train). How can we be sure he is not doing this for the benefit of his party?

This is like an out-of-form professional golfer who decides to change the rules to suit himself (bigger holes, no water, no sand traps, second tee shot allowed). Suthep would have gained tremendous support had he blown the whistle while the Democrats were in power.
