Tourists' accidents are too frequent
After the movie "Lost in Thailand" was released in China, I saw plenty of Chinese tourists around Chiang Mai. I wouldn't have any concerns if they didn't get involved in serious accidents.
In the past month a Chinese tourist was killed by a bus while riding a motorcycle down the middle of the Doi Suthep road. This is not the first time I've seen foreign tourists in road accidents. I think there are many accidents involving foreign tourists, and not just Chinese.
Tourists can easily rent a motorcycle, but many of them have never ridden one before. They know little or nothing about traffic conditions in Thailand. This happens not only in Chiang Mai but other cities that have tourist attractions. I think if we want to promote our country as a tourist destination, the government should take part in dealing with this problem.
