"Meeting to discuss delay of election starts Wednesday", Politics, January 15.
Caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra attended the meeting to discuss the Election Commission's suggestion to delay the February 2 poll. From the commission itself, only its secretary general, Puchon Nutrawong, attended. Permanent Secretary for Justice Kittipong Kittayarak posted on Facebook yesterday that the election should be postponed for three to six months. The suggestion is interesting - it would provide enough time for a new party to form and be eligible to stand in the elections (or a replacement one if necessary).
