Questions the Army must answer

The Royal Thai Army has a lot of explaining to do over how long martial law will be in effect and what exactly will be done during that time.

So far, Army Commander General Prayuth Chan-ocha has been vague over whether martial law will be used only to prevent violence, or also to "manage" the country's political problems.

The fact that the caretaker government was kept in the dark as martial law was declared is even more puzzling.

Hence, it looks like Gen Prayuth owes the public a lot of answers and explanations.

We, the people, have every right to hear the truth.
