On news and articles about Thaksin, his name is always preceded by "convicted fugitive" and I wonder why the media are shy from specifying the crime he was convicted of. Is the case too frivolous to mention?
Not everyone knows what crime Thaksin was convicted of. But even if everyone does, there are babies being born every minute who will someday encounter Thaksin's name for the first time. They deserve to know what he was found guilty of.
So when you write about Thaksin, please be precise and state the crime he was convicted for.
